Resumen del Editor

You can't fight City Hall. All Mitzy Neuhaus wants to do is get back to business as usual, but "The Worst Economy Since The Great Depression" has slowed her real-estate business to a near standstill. She can't spare any more time or money for the ailing agency until she has rehabilitated the old Victorian on Baltimore street into an inn that can pay its own way.

The excessive interest of the FBI, city planners, and possibly organized crime threaten Mitzy's career, romance, and way of life. Can Mitzy and her team get the inn off the ground, or will a tram to nowhere derail all of Mitzy's plans?

Interesting aspects, better than book #1

Would you consider the audio edition of Eminent Domain to be better than the print version?

Absolutely!

What about Misty Echoing Praise’s performance did you like?

Misty really put the cherry on the top of this story! Phone conversations sounded like they were coming from a real phone, and her subtle and appropriate used of sound effects gripped me and drew me into the story. She MADE the story!

Any additional comments?

The storyline doesn't rank as my all-time favorite, but I enjoyed it. It had a lot more action and various interconnected mysteries that kept the story moving nicely. It displayed life as it happens... rarely easy. We could sympathize with Mitzy's struggles and celebrate her victories.

Not my cup of tea

This book was so boring! I drive a lot, so audiobooks help keep me awake. Not this one!

Not only did it put me to sleep, but it was also so scattered that I could barely follow the storyline.

The story was all over the place, and completely unbelievable. Mitzy's life is too perfect--a millionaire at 30, the owner of multiple properties, a family that loves her, and a great boyfriend. Even the "fights" are resolved within minutes. She is too nice to be realistic.

Mitzy takes no chances in this book. I was never on the edge of my seat, waiting to see what would happen next.

The plot line didn't really even make sense--it was a convoluted mess of Russian mafia and a corrupt city councilman who really had nothing to do with Mitzy.

All of the characters were flat and too nice for their own good.

I read the first book in this series, but I was still lost on some of the relationships in this book. There was no background, whatsoever.

I will NOT be reading the next one of these.

The only positive thing I can say is that it is a clean book. No unnecessary violence or sex or language. However, without ANY of those things, there was also no spice.

The narrator sounded more like a newscaster than a performer. She only had two voices: a man's voice, and a woman's voice. I could not distinguish between characters within the same sex.
