Way Better Than I Thought It Would Be

What did you love best about Elixir?

The two main female characters were intelligent, resourceful, adventurous, and supportive of one another. A great example of positive female friendship written right.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Reyna was my favorite character because she was not afraid or ashamed of her own sexuality, strived for what she wanted, and supported her friend. She is extraverted and enthusiastic--someone I would love to have as a friend.

Which scene was your favorite?

The scenes that required vivid description of location were my favorite because the scenes are imaginative.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The main character may have a wealth and glamor that only one in a million teenagers has, but she goes on adventures instead of waiting for the plot to take her somewhere. She has guts and initiative, but is also a sweet caring person.

Any additional comments?

This book is cliche but charmingly so. It feel apart at the end a little bit, but the first 10 chapters were lots of fun.

Enjoyable

Great imagination. I enjoyed the story very much, and would like to read more like it.
