I love that this book started with explaining what is happening in your body during menopause. Menopause just snuck up on me and I did not know what was happening. A book like this would have prepared me for it and given me strategies 1. Prepare myself and 2. Manage the symptoms. I ate so many carbs now that I look back on it, I can understand why I was so miserable. The author includes two chapters on nutrition which is wonderful. I especially like the idea of designing a menopause master plan. Give as a gift. It will be much appreciated.
