Bold, outspoken and passionate, Ed Koch has been a leader in American politics for more than 40 years. Reseñas editoriales

When Ed Koch died, in February 2013, New York City lost what some have called its greatest mayor since Fiorello La Guardia. Koch was a three-term mayor, a Democrat who oversaw tax cuts, expansion in housing for the poor, and handled the controversial AIDS crisis in the 1980s. After his life in public office, he became a vigorous - even hawkish - supporter of the state of Israel.

In this audiobook recording of a conversation with correspondent Budd Mishkin, which took place in 2008, Koch discusses The Koch Papers: My Fight Against Anti-Semitism, a collection of articles on that subject that seeks a clear-eyed understanding of anti-semitism in our time, particularly in New York City. Koch’s observations are trenchant, and his humor intact.
