After the fall of the Shadow King, Rivet wanders a broken world, searching for purpose in the aftermath of war. But whispers of an ancient power call to him, leading him to uncover fragments of his forgotten past. When strange creatures begin emerging—phantoms bearing the remnants of the Shadow King’s darkness—Rivet realizes the battle is far from over.

Seeking answers, he stumbles upon a hidden village of survivors who believe the corruption still lingers. When spectral beasts attack, Rivet’s dormant abilities awaken, briefly restoring his form as the blue ninja frog. However, his transformation is unstable, leaving him vulnerable and unsure of what is happening to him.

With the help of old allies and new companions, Rivet embarks on a journey to uncover the truth behind these echoes of darkness. As he battles monstrous foes and faces visions of a forgotten past, he must learn to master his shifting powers before the corruption consumes everything once more.

In a final confrontation with the true source of the lingering shadow, Rivet will have to embrace who he once was and who he is meant to be. But victory comes at a cost, and the echoes of the past may hold more than just forgotten memories—they may reveal a destiny he never expected.
