A real-life story about an Asian Indian boy named Shahab Aamir Jaweedan, also known as Michael Jaydan. He navigated a complicated life and struggled to find his purpose and calling. It wasn't until he entered the foster care system that he discovered his true calling by helping other foster youth like himself. Michael draws on his real-life experience to inspire hope for those on similar paths.

In Echoes of Resilience, Michael's tale recounts the hardships and struggles he faced, testing his limits and proving that he won’t let challenges define him. Now, all that matters to him is One Thing. Born in Anaheim, California, and raised in LA County during his early childhood, Michael moved to Artesia, California, in 2010 at the age of six. A small city known as "Little India," became the place where he spent most of his life.

Yvette Romero, a writer and author, played a crucial role in editing and revising this book, along with Kealohilani Minami and Mireya Palencia.
