Great Story

The story is put together well. It flows back and forth well in a way that gives the story a sense of perfect timing to me.

The AI narrator was at best ok. I think this book might have been one of my favorites if a talentent human narrator was found to read it.

The book could use some werewolf sound effects and violence.

loved , loved , this book. the only thing I would change would be a real narrator instead of a.i. . it's better to build horror and suspense. first piece of werewolf media in years that I have loved.

For werewolf fans

I listened to this one blindly and absolutely enjoyed it. the writing was excellent and the story was thrilling. The only downside was that the book wasn't read by a human reader.

this werewolf novel was a really good read. good storyline and a few good scary parts .

Really Enjoyed..

I was surprised that I liked the book. it had a few drop offs, like with the Sheriff but overall it was an enjoyable listen!!

Computer voice is terrible

Computer generated voice made a very good story mediocre. No emotion whatsoever. Also, i think i counted the word “baby” 200,000 times. Too much and got annoying. Other than those things, the story was good

Story was ok

Virtual voice is still really bad. So many mispronunciations and no emotion in the reading.

The story of Jesse and her daughter evading an abusive relationship.

The virtual voice doesn't need a review. That said, the story as a whole is very compelling. I feel for Jesse, her daughter, and the Wolf Kin as they struggle to hide from the human world.
Sheriff Sutton could have gotten a better ending to his story and a more drawn-out explanation of his dilemma and his relationship with Jesse.
Terry and Sid had a good subplot with the preacher, which did get tied up nicely.
Collin and Roxy had compelling reasons for doing what they did and wanted to do, and their reasons were well-flushed out.
As far as Blake goes, he is a well-drawn-out character, and his motivation is made quite clear with flashbacks and introspection into the character.
Jesse and her daughter have a good relationship between them. How they interact with the world around them and their dilemma is an understandable feeling that got my stomach in a twist many times.
Overall, it was a good listen and read one day, but the story missed the opportunity to draw out Sheriff Sutton's backstory.
