Addicted to M R Forbes audibles
Earth Unrelenting is the second book in this series. Sheriff Duke is called upon to assist in finding a fugitive, Nathan Stacker, that fled Proxima and is now on earth. Proxima is a planet many from earth fled to a long time ago.
A lot is going on. The story transitions well from various locations and situations. Sheriff Duke is an Earther in the know. He is a very valuable person in many situations. Nathan Stacker is a worthy opponent, as are many others.
Earth Unrelenting is a face-paced action-packed story. I could not put it down. I love the Sheriff Duke character. The Sheriff is in another M. R. Forbes story. It’s great to be learning more about and enjoying this character again.
The narrator is incredible. Jonathan Davis makes the story he is reading come alive. The characters flourish to life as Davis narrates.

I have found the fist two series in the forgotten story line excellent. There were times when I was frustrated, sad, happy, and vindicated. Excellent writing , and sherif Duke is the man with a plan.

Excellent World Building
It all went too fast, the entire story of the sheriff. Easily you invest in this world and the characters in it from the first book to this final performance. You can easily imagine adventure in this world and the many stories humanity has yet to have. I'm saddened that the story ended. It was a good listen and excellent performance.

Another excellent continuation in the series
From reading other reviews on this book I feel it’s necessary to point out that this is a continuation in a series of books that make up an entire universe. If you haven’t read the other books DO NOT START WITH THIS ONE!! This is the fourth book of the second set of books in the series out of 9 sets in the complete universe spanning 36 books in total. Please go to https://www.mrforbes.com/forgottenuniverse to view the entire set. This set is excellent if you are in to science fiction and monster horror. The narrators after the first few books leave something to be desired but otherwise excellent story with a ton of characters and places. Be warned NO ONE IS SAFE!!! even main characters can and will die. The story often leaves you on the edge of your seat and many of the books end with cliffhangers. M.R. Forbes keeps it coming! It never gets old!!
