Earth can’t be caught in the middle of the conflicts around them. They find themselves in a balancing act in dealing with the Terest and Izod, two civilizations that have been battling and now both want Earth’s survivors to be on their side.

From Victims to Galactic Players

I was hooked by the premise of Earth rising from the ashes and becoming a major space power. The political intrigue and alien negotiations were surprisingly detailed and believable. While the pace slowed a bit during the exploration segments, the looming threat of Julius kept the tension high. Perreault’s narration is clear and engaging, although a few more voice distinctions could’ve helped with immersion. Still, a fantastic continuation of the Virus series.

I highly recommend this title in any form. My only complaint is... I wish there was more. ;)

Good book

Well written and good story line. Starts off with a virus that wipes out most of humanity and ends up a space adventure. The only thing I didn’t like in the audiobooks was lack of other voices for the wide variety of characters

Earth II - Emergence is a gripping continuation of the Virus/Earth II series, and I was hooked from the start. The suspense of Tom Herl’s fate and the looming threat of Julius kept me turning pages late into the night. I loved the intricate world-building and the political tension between the Terest and Izod, which added depth to the story beyond just survival.
