Simple fun book

A fun interesting read. Simple good read if you’re looking for something down to earth and not complicated. My husband and I both enjoyed it.

Amazing Woman

i know people who were lucky enough to know and have work with her a bit. She is wonderful at her work and also such a talented writer and entertaining to boot. A great read for anyone, but esp. to inspire girls to go for their dreams.

what did I dislike, it needed to continue, seriously I felt empty when she left me.
Loved being in her world for awhile. Funny, serious, heartfelt you will enjoy your ride along with this book.

Great peak into a strong woman's life

I can picture the places, people, and situations thanks to great storytelling and excellent narration. It was over too quickly. This would be an excellent book for any would-be vets to really understand the challenges. As it is for entertainment, it's great storytelling of a strong woman's journey to be who she wishes to be.

I learned a lot about what courage it takes to be a vet, in particular a large animal vet. Melinda’s humor and stories are told in a thoughtful descriptive manor.
