This was a good wrap-up to the series. I enjoyed them all, but this was really good.

Exciting and Rivitng Storyline

Rebecca, has again brought her characters to life and kept her readers hooked to the pages of her book by this exciting and extremely tantalizing best seller! Angus Force and Nari Zhang along with the HDD kept me up way past my bed time anxious to read and hear if Lassiter was still alive, or was it a copycat killer ? You won't be disappointed, the romantic scenes were just enough, the suspense, action and the crescendo of the finale was absolutely phenomenal!! Well done!

BEST BOOK EVER!!!

This book has it all. You will NOT be disappointed. A kick ass German Shepherd that is hooked on alcohol, a serial killer/ murder mystery with dynamite ending; a swoon worthy love story that keeps on coming again and again. And of course the mandatory HEA. The Angus Force character is superbly written with magnificent narration, as is his female counterpart, Nori. Yup, THIS BOOK IS A WINNER!!!

Great balance of action, suspense and romance. I was concerned it would get sappy but it never did. I enjoyed the narration and will definitely get the next in series.

Everything Rebecca Zanetti writes is engaging, sexy and all around awesome! I love the Deep Ops Series. Of course, I pretty much devour, and reread ever one of her books
The narrator, Roger Wayne, is fantastic! He has a way of making distinct individual voices for each character... be it multiple females, males, even the British accent.. he amazes me!

Any new book released by Rebecca Zanetti, is an automatic download, for me. Her books always contain the perfect balance of mystery, intrigue, romance and intimacy, without all the angst. Angst, in my opinion, is way overused in the genre of Romance. With that being said, Zanetti’s biggest gift, in my opinion, is her ability to create unique, though imperfect, characters. Her heroines aren’t helpless and are the rescuer as much as the rescued.

This series has a cast of great, physically and emotionally scarred individuals that use their quirky differences to continue living, learning and loving. There is even an orphaned kitten and a remarkable German Shepherd with PTSD, in this series; and they add more humor and fierce loyalty, to this group of misfits that fit.

Be aware that there are disturbing descriptions of crime scenes that involve torture, mutilation, cannibalization and murder. The reader/listener doesn’t experience the scene, first hand, but has the events described afterwards.

Even though there are some brutal events, stories of loss and heartache and violence, the overall theme of these books is positive. If you like a contemporary romance with mystery, humor, a bit of heat and a heartwarming HEA, this is definitely a credit worthy listen!
