Kind of a Gary Lachman super fan here

I love all of the Gary Lachman books I’ve read so far. This one feels like listening to a very knowledgeable, widely-read, old friend about this subject that has always intrigued me. I have a deep conviction that dreams have meaning so I am predisposed to enjoy this exploration. He convinced me to start writing down my dreams regularly (mission accomplished, Gary), which is something I’ve done rarely and sporadically.

Interesting stories

I liked the first part of the book on pre-cognitive dreams and different cultural views on time. It made me think and opened up my mind a bit. The last part of the book on coincidences and synchronicity, though, I could not buy into. Doesn't Lachman recognize that if you have a bunch of random events, it would be miraculous for coincidences *not* to happen? Still, though, I enjoyed his stories and writing style, and it was a different perspective than what I usually hear.

Glad I didn't buy the book

boring and all over the place but has some knowledge to it , lost interest very fast.

Had high hopes and expectations

I am a big fan of Gary in all things esoterica and beyond. I have enjoyed his lectures available on Amazon as well as 4 of his books thus far but I believe that he continued for too long on the list of chance happenings that at one point, caused me to lose interest. He mentioned ESP and other patterns of perception as well as authors in the space but he did not even mention Ingo Swann who was bar none the top researcher and practitioner in the space with numerous books on space.

I left a review of just "okay" because I was not able to push on through the 5 remaining hours while recognizing that better material may have lay past my point of departure.
