Fast Paced Urban Fantasy with Dragons 😍

First, I will give my thoughts on the narrator. She was overall pretty great with great inflections and getting those tense and funny moments right but I gave her a 4 instead of a 5 because sometimes I forgot if the chapter was an Astrid chapter or a Kaden chapter and this narrator didn't deepen or change her voice for Kaden which threw me off. I prefer when the voice changes so you won't get lost on if it's Kaden or Astrid. Especially if you have to pause in the middle of a chapter. I still overall thought it was good so I think it still deserves 4 stars.

Now for the story. The story is amazing. If you love dragon shifters in a new world that is being built then this is for you. There are secrets swirling and definitely some lies floating around. There was also a huge twist I never saw coming. I also love all the side characters too. I think Kaden is the dark and broody bad boy we all deserve and we are going to have to watch him grow and learn. I think Astrid is going to peel back those layers. Astrid has a lot to learn too. I think we are going to get a traditional slow burn romance as one can expect from Sean. That ending had me gasping and wanting more. I can't wait to listen to the next one when it's out!

What happens when you find out people are actually hunting you. That’s where Astrid finds herself. As she learns more about herself and others around her, she does what she has to to survive.

Enjoy this fast paced plot to discover where the author and narrator take you. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

love a good shifter novel

loved the tale of a guy running from his past attempting to protect a girl hiding from her present. the two unlock many aspects of themselves while also unlocking each other..... yeah that was sappy! but I loved this book and can't wait to listen to the next book in the series.

Really Good

I really enjoyed Astrid character she defended the people she care about whole heartedly I think her and Kaden would be a good couple because they both have very strong personalities and understand each other well I can’t wait to hear more about there story together with all the twist and turn they have going on

Great Dragon Shifter Series

Really enjoyed listening to the one, once I started I couldn't stop! Sean Fletchter is a talented writer and I love how he balances the action, humor, snark, and even a bit of romance into his stories, and this one is perfection. If you enjoy shifters, dragons, and magic this is the series for you!

The narration from Elise Taff is fantastic, she does a great job voicing the characters and getting the nuances and emotions across. This is my first time listening to one of Sean Fletcher's books, I usually read them, and Taff really did a great job bringing the characters to life. I look forward listing to the next book in the series.

I couldn't put this one down. it was so good! I really enjoyed learning about the dragon kin! read it!

Dragon story

Sean Fletcher wrote an amazing dragon series. Elise Taff brought the story to life. The story is interesting, humorous, lots of action, and romantic. It was a plot twist you don’t see coming. If you like shifters and dragons you will love this story. It will make you want to continue reading and wanting more.
