On Wall Street, success has a price, and Jack Cole is about to learn what happens when you can’t afford it.

Jack is a driven young analyst, working to hold on at one of Manhattan’s most powerful investment banks, and struggling to get by in the big city. One night, he catches the eye of his firm’s enigmatic owner—a man whose charm hides something far darker—Jack is pulled into a world where deals are rigged, loyalties are illusions, and betrayal is currency.
What begins as the opportunity of a lifetime becomes a trap. Jack’s meteoric rise is followed by a brutal fall that strips him of his career, his future, and the life he fought to build. With everything taken from him, he’s forced onto the streets of New York, where survival means confronting the conspiracy that destroyed him.
To reclaim his life, Jack must navigate a labyrinth of greed, power, and deadly secrets—before the people who engineered his downfall finish the job.
Gritty, atmospheric, and relentlessly paced, Down & Out in Manhattan blends classic noir with the ruthless seduction of Wall Street. This is a story of ambition pushed past its limits—and the price of redemption in a city that never forgives.

The plot was interesting, but doesn’t hold up. The AI narration was humorous and terrible. At first, it was fun, but then grew tiresome. “I asked her to get my cover…yourassfile”. That and the fact that all of the voices are the same and sound like they’re 15 years old.

AI is not ready to narrate!
