The question is: who will gain more if the Allies prevent the attack? Sondegger, MI5, the OSS, Tom, and Earl's wife, Harriet, all have different answers. Unable to trust anyone, Tom attempts to save the Twenty Committee and stop the attack on Pearl Harbor as the clock counts down.

Like It

I liked the story alot. The characters could haveused some work but wre still likable. All in all an enjoyable listen.

Keeps your interest

An enjoyable piece of history-based fiction that keeps you listening. The overall premise is a good one and there are a few surprises in store. Many of the more minor characters tend to be very one-dimensional and somewhat predictable. But overall it was a an enjoyable listen. The reader did a good job overall and a commendable job on most of the American accents, including that of the main character. If you want a book that has some suspense, some grounding in historical events, and a few twists and turns, you'll enjoy this.

found it confusing

Despite Simon Vance's superb narration, I found it confusing and stopped early on. It might have been a time when I needed something simpler and more straighttforward. The reviews on Amazon were good, so perhaps it was me!
