3.5 Stars. Narration Was Ok

There was more to this story than expected. It was filled with action, danger, and suspense, beyond the secret that Carlo and Summer were concealing..

The story was filled with suspense and intrigue, centered around the relationships between the main characters. The couple faced a number of challenges and obstacles before achieving their HEA ending.

The was ok. Tbh, there were times when the male narrator was supposed to be Italian but reminded me of a Russian accent to the point I started to think more Bratva than Sicilian mob. 3.5 stars

Grab your fire extinguisher because this audiobook is going to light your ears on fire! Smoking hot scenes and a combustible relationship make this story one of the hottest from this author. Excellent narration, great storyline, and a world that draws the listener in quickly.
You’ve been warned…keep a tall glass of ice water close by!

Powerful and Steamy Mafia Romance!!

Carlo Romano moves to the US when his brother tries to kill him, and becomes underboss to the LaTorre family.. Summer LaTorre is studying ballet, when an accident precludes furthering her career. After a breakup she goes to dance at a strip club for therapy for both her self esteem and dance.


When Carlo happens to see her, he takes her in hand rather than turn her in to her father. He has always intended to claim her, but he can no longer wait. He focuses on her self esteem, college work, and behavior;

Vulnerable, yet sassy, Summer thrives under Carlo’s care. If her father finds out - he may have a negative / deadly reaction. Emotional, scintillating, and a very satisfying read!

healing and growing

The fire between these two could light the skies. Carlo is a mafia man with a good heart and Summer benefits from his attentions. There has been a lot of healing and growth on Summer's part. They share a lot of naughty nights that almost burned my kindle as I listened. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrators did a great job bringing the characters and story to life.

Great story

I enjoyed listing to Benjamin Sands and Kingsley Rose bring this story to life. Their voices made it all jump out and feel like you were there watching this all go down!
