IF YOU HEAR THE TAP, IT’S TOO LATE.
Zara Reeds never should have answered the tapping.
It started as a dare. A joke whispered on the bus. A game you only lost if you looked. But now the taps are coming at her own window—and the thing outside knows her name.
Each knock pulls her deeper into a pattern that erases the ones it takes. Forgotten kids. Carved warnings. Hooks hammered into old wood. The stories aren’t just legends—they’re rules. And she’s already breaking them.
Because once you see him, he sees you. And he doesn’t let you go.
The first tap is a warning.
The second is an invitation.
The third means you’re his.
Don’t Look Outside is Book Two in the Urban Legends Revisited series—a chilling, atmospheric horror series where every town has its own story, and every story has its own rules. Perfect for fans of urban legends, creepy folklore, and slow-burn supernatural suspense.
Read it now and see if you can follow the rules.
FIELD NOTE 002 – “TAP. TAP.”
More than a dozen variations of the “window tapping” legend have been documented—usually involving a dare, a whispered name, and a warning not to look. This account was recovered in Oregon, from a student’s tablet and handwritten notes found near Meriwether Park. We believe this case is real.
