There seems to be a large majority of Christians who mix their faith with Judaism and have taken on board a combination of end-time doctrine, coupled with the law and a strange obsession with natural Israel. The idea that the nation of Israel will be restored back to God during the millennial reign of Christ, indicates two different and distinct covenants which is a concerning imposition on scripture. For there has only been one covenant and one people that are inextricably linked to the cross and the symbol of the olive tree. For once Abraham cried to the Lord and said Oh that Ishmael (wild donkey) be the one. Likewise, today we have a church that cries out for Israel in the same way. Does not Paul call current day Israel ‘Hagar’ which is in bondage (to the Law) with her children? But what does the scripture say, “Cast out the bondwoman and her son, for the son (Israel) of the bondwoman shall not be HEIR with the son (church) of the Freewoman.” It is clear the children of promise are in Isaac.
