Red O’Brien and Billy Don Craddock are finishing a construction project for one of their regular customers when he makes an unexpected request - help him regain custody of his beloved beagle, Teddy. The way they go about it is a howl.

Outstanding as Usual!

Mr. Rehder has hit another home run, this time via a short. Extremely fun and entertaining.

short, but fun

Any story that has Billy Don and Red in it is going to be fun, and this was no exception. It was a fun read and the narrator brings it to life.

Another great Ben Rehder story.

Poor Fred

I enjoyed parts of the story, but Jasmine ruined it. Someone like that who takes a dog when splitting up is just heartless and vile, and I have no use for people like that. I won't waste another second thinking about her wicked evil selfishness. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job.

Hilarious!

I love all of the Blanco County mysteries! This short story was so funny! Johnny Peppers makes the characters appear bigger than life!
