But the more I find out, the more impossible claiming her becomes. She's running from her abusive ex, and that's a thing my brothers and I could easily deal with. But her ex is also an FBI Special Agent, and he'll do whatever it takes to get her back. Messing with him could get us all arrested, or worse, killed.

I can't let her go and I can't risk the lives of my brothers to keep her. The choice between Anne and the MC is impossible to make. But, one way or another, I'll have to make it.

My goodness, almost every move this chick made was so beyond stupid I couldn’t even believe it 😂 I like the story and everything so all stars across the board but holy shit girlfriend. For someone who is smart and has been in abusive situations you’d think she would use at least a little bit of her brain. Like literally damn near every decision she made was so bad that I’m surprised that it was even an option lmao.

Bad ending

The ending was awful, the whole storyline is about the husband and he is just forgotten and never mentioned what happened.
