One day, while Dixie and her dog Mama are on a long walk through the neighborhood, they meet a whole bunch of rescue dogs! Dixie is introduced to Jack, the one-eyed pitbull, Evil Evie, the temperamental Shih Tzu, Jarvis, the Mexican hairless dog, and Brinkley, the unofficial neighborhood mayor. Dixie and 12 other dogs become fast friends, and Mama and Dixie are no longer alone.
