Diving into Darkness

Karly James gives up a promising career as a Coast Guard investigator to join Danica and Cameron Williston on a quest to find Blackbeard’s treasure. Though it sounds like a myth, her friends have already found Henry Jennings' treasure, using the pirate's journal passed down through Danica's family. The journal mentions the location of where Blackbeard's gold is buried. Karly doesn't want to miss out on the discovery of a lifetime.

When Danica’s cousin, Simon Jennings, joins the team, Karly learns he had once served time and sets out to prove he can’t be trusted and could be dangerous. He doesn't hide the fact that he' doesn't like her.

After someone tries to kill Simon, Karly’s inner sleuth takes over, and she works to solve the mysteries of his dark past. As they work together, Simon becomes harder to resist, but he is someone her family would never accept.
Their mission becomes a dangerous race to beat others to the treasure as they dive into darkness.
