this set was really cute. It covers so many different characters, you never have a chance to get bored. I never read the book, I've only listen to it. I am not a big-time audiobook person, so I don't have much to compare it to, but I did like the narrator. She didn't try and force male voices to sound overly deep or masculine, and I actually like that, it worked for her. I had no trouble following along with all the different characters too even though it was all voiced with one narrator.

(3.5 stars) - fluffy entertainment

This is a lighthearted & fun YA enemies-to-lovers story. Morgan believes she's hit on a great way to supplement her limited college student income - matchmaking.

It's all downhill from there - which leads to some confusing & sometimes amusing situations.

There are a few things that didn't make sense - why did one of the guys sign up for the service when he had someone & why was that someone ok with him dating someone else? And Declan & Morgan's attraction didn't seem well enough supported to endure all that transpired.

However, it was an amusing diversion & I did enjoy listening to it.

(The narrator did a respectable job though her voice seemed to struggle with the lower register at times)

A Fun & Lighthearted Listen

This set follows Morgan as she becomes the Date Maker. This is a lighthearted listen that will have you laughing and shaking your head for most of the stories. I enjoyed all four books and it seems that Murphy's Law runs rampant. These are fun easy listens that will have you wondering what all is going to happen (read...go wrong) in the next installment. The narration was done well with my only complaint being the distinction between male and female voices. The narrator didn't attempt any deeper tones for the males. I'm not saying she should have become baritone or anything but a slightly deeper tone would have been nice. Overall, an enjoyable listen I feel is worth your time.

Very Enjoyable

I really enjoyed this and was happy to listen to this book. Disastrous Dates kept me entertained through the whole book. I will definitely be seeking more by this author.

cute heartwarming story

This collection of stories was a great listen. what could go wrong seemed to go wrong for them. opposites do attract.
narration was a bit off for me. not really a fluctuation in voices between the characters that I like to hear

Great Read

Disastrous Dates: The Complete Collection was a great read by Kayla Tirrell. This collection consists of; The Date Maker, Meet Your Match, The Grudge Match and The Maker's Match. Morgan has always done a good job of setting people up. She decides to start a dating service called The Date Maker for local college students. Unfortunately that doesn't go as planned when Declan tries to ruin everything. I enjoyed reading Morgan and Declan's story as well as the two successful couples. Sabrina Schloss did a good job of narrating characters that you care for. I ant wait to read more by Kayla Tirrell.

Disastrous Dates was a fun story to listen to. Interesting plot line and characters. Narration was good, she has nice "good girl" voice that fits the MC really well.

Loved this story!!

I loved listening to this story!! It’s fun and up beat romances that keep you entertained from the beginning to the end. The author makes everyone likable and you just want to know what will happen to them next. The narrator brings teach character to life and keeps you entertained. Sure glad I got to listen to this audiobook!!

Anything but Disastrous!

What a wonderful story. Thinking this was a story for the young, I approached the audible with an open mind. Disastrous Dates was entertaining and heartfelt. I listened to it twice. I recommend Disastrous Dates to all ages!
Morgan was charming and compassionate. Sometimes, things workout even when you get there in a roundabout way.
I received this audible with the intention of posting an honest review! Not disappointed at all! Five Stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
