Finneas O'Connell is a master with paint and brush. Tortured by a past riddled in tragedy and pain he creates fantastic renditions of the horrors that roam the recesses of his mind. Most are put off by his subject matter; too squeamish or afraid of the terrors that he conjures. All except for one mysterious benefactor who visits him and buys them all up gladly. This old patron of the arts seems to relish in the horrors that all but come to life on the artist's canvas. He delights in the pain that the images invoke and encourages the artist for more. But who is this man? What is he about? Wealthy and well-to-do but earthy and with an air of the utmost malevolence. Finneas has finally figured it out, finally knows what he must do, but will he be able to steady himself enough to go through with his plan? And what about Alice... can he let her go, afterall? Bonus Story "Be Careful Out There" Terrors lurk in the night. In a western town on the verge of being devoured, one man means to do something about it by God.
