Love Adams, hate dramatizations
I should know better, after listening to the Hitchhiker's Guide series. I just don't care for the dramatized versions. It's often a cacophony wherein I can't understand the dialog, especially in view of the British accents. I will give it another go, but next time just the simple narrated version so I can understand completely what's going on, and also to better appreciate Douglas Adams' genius, which was mostly lost amidst the sound effects.

Radio play was a fun change from audio books
A different experience than audio books, this radio play was quite entertaining.
At times the audio was convoluted due to sound effects. Barely understandable when one has other background noise. I advise headphones for this one.

Excellent fun!
This dramatized version of Dirk Gently takes a a bit to get into but once you start flowing with the ridiculous nonsensical logic of it all it becomes great fun. The actors play their parts well and the story was well adapted. Love Douglas Adams.

Fantastic
Sometimes the audio from the voice actors and the background effects didn't mix well and it was difficult to hear what was said. but for the most part it was fine.

Fun!
It's just pure Douglas Adams style fun! It's well written and the performances was great. There is no reason not to get this if you're a fan of Douglas Adams.

Loved it
I’m a huge DA fan and have been since high school in the 80s, so I admit I’m biased when it comes to his work. That said, I thoroughly enjoyed this version of Dirk Gently and yes, even the music. It just worked all around for me. Great acting from all. I do see how those less familiar with this story might get lost at times, but I loved it.

Great Book, don't get the dramatized version
This dramatized version wasn't bad, just not that good. There was an excessive use of sound effects and this book needs more than just dialogue to follow the story.

A great radio play but is only the dialogue
Is there anything you would change about this book?
I would want it to include Douglas Adam's famous wit in the narrative and not just his snappy dialogue.
