Relatable characters with smart and funny banter, and all the feels. Great start to the series!

A light yet heartfelt love story

Martine’s light yet heartfelt love story has us watching the overthinking, relatable Olivia get slowly swept off her feet by the hunky yet gentle Adam. The friendships that develop among the supporting cast of characters, the romantic history and leftover emotional baggage of the two protagonists, and the vibrant backdrop of a company training in Texas all enrich the storyline. Martine’s writing is witty, and the pace of the story is brisk but authentic. I listened to the audiobook and Guillermo’s voice really brought the characters to life.
