An equally important, yet not well-known aspect, of Dharma is that it is a Cosmic Force in Universal manifestation. Just like other Cosmic Forces, like gravity for example, Dharma influences and impacts all people in all countries of the world whether they believe in Dharma or not. It is imperative, therefore, that all people care about Dharma and try to understand its full power and potency.
The word ‘Sanatana’ is another Sanskrit word belonging to the ‘non-translatable-to-other-languages’ category with its acceptable meaning in the English language of ‘eternal’ or ‘it existed always’. The term “Sanatana Dharma” thus means ‘the way of Dharmic life that always existed in the Universe’. This way of life was discovered by the men of wisdom known as saints or Rishis who lived in the pre-Harappan Civilization of around 7000 BCE or earlier in the northwestern parts of the undivided India when the Veda Mantras were revealed to the Rishis in superconscious meditation. The Sanatana Dharma (SD) way of life is said to be practiced continuously if not from that time onwards and "as originally practiced form" but at least since 2600 BCE onwards as part of the Harappan Civilization and in some modified form by many people of India even today. SD way of life can thus lay claim as the oldest civilizational form and culture in existence today.
This book provides details of the practice of Dharma and of the Sanatana Dharma way of life. Such practices according to its proponents will help the universal good. The author hopes that this book will help most people to understand Dharma & to practice the SD way of life to usher in a world of peaceful coexistence for all in manifestation.
