Valkyrie is back in action When an unanswered distress call comes in from the South Pacific, members of Valkyrie begin to plan for a rescue of an unknown nature. They are not aware their client, the daughter of a wealthy French politician, sent the distress signal because pirates had attacked and boarded her yacht and kidnapped her and her entire crew. Everything changes when Valkyrie discovers they have been called upon to rescue the lovely Josephine Dumont, from the forces of a brilliant but sinister pirate. However, nothing is what it seems, as Valkyrie’s past comes back to haunt them. Meanwhile, Richard Carter, the newest member of the elite retrieval team, is still haunted by memories of his first mission. If Richard can’t overcome his demons, his position in the organization could be at stake. As he works to overcome his fears, Richard begins to learn new methods to deal with the past. He doesn’t know it, but time isn’t on his side as he prepares for the next mission
