The purpose of an association is to help members of the association - the churches - work, fellowship, and better fulfill their purposes. The association does not take the place of a church; it is there to help so churches can function better.

The purpose of this book is to help churches form associations that can help them fulfill their objectives. It is also a helpful tool for associational leaders trying to find better ways to achieve their goals. The author has attempted to write a book accessible to all. It is not a technical book. On the contrary, it is a practical book that seeks to answer the most frequently asked question (FAQ) in forming and developing an association.
