Americans Need To Understand NATO.

Americans have always been more isolationist than most other nations for historical and geographic reasons However, that has not always served us well, and it is dangerous in today’s interconnected and volatile world. And body who votes should read this book and learn some lessons.

When the author narrates his/her own book it can be a major positive because the stress one places can shape the nuance and even meaning of a phrase. Not all authors are good readers, however. Apps is excellent though.

Comprehensive Overview of NATO history

Well-researched with a significant amount of references from original sources. I especially appreciated the author including analysis, perspective, and implications of recent events to include the 2022 invasion of Ukraine, 2023 war in Gaza, and 2024 political uncertainties.
