Desire in Frost (Crystal Frost Book 2) ~~ Book two jumps right in and raises the stakes. Crystal heads to the mountains with Emma, Derek, and Robin — and of course nothing goes as planned. Her visions get darker, more intense, and suddenly she’s caught up in a missing person case that hits way too close to home. This book really shows how quickly Crystal’s powers are growing… and how overwhelming they can be.

Emma continues to be her loyal sidekick, but she starts showing a little spark of her own intuitive abilities. Derek, as usual, tries to keep things logical, which cracks me up because logic is the last thing that helps here. And Robin? His protective side really kicks in. That boy goes from guarded and quiet to someone who obviously cares more than he wants to admit.

The way Crystal connects with the missing girl through visions is intense and emotional. The danger feels real this time — like Crystal’s abilities might be the only chance this girl has. And watching Crystal finally trust her intuition instead of fighting it shows real growth from Book 1.

The romance is a slow burn, but you can see the shift happening between Crystal and Robin… and it makes every little moment count.

I would definitely recommend this book and series and can’t wait to start on the next book. If you want to know what happens next, you’ll just have to read this series yourself — you won’t regret it.
