Can Saddam’s Army hold its own…
…against the weight of American military might?

Tanks, armored personnel carriers, helicopters, paratroopers, and amphibious assault vehicles mobilize to bring the pain for Operation Desert Storm.

Will Saddam use chemical and biological weapons to try and even the score?

The mighty guns of the USS Iowa and Wisconsin support one final amphibious assault. Will their 36-inch, 2,000-pound shells shatter the Iraqi defenses and open the way for the Marines?

The largest tank battle since World War II is brewing.
What if America didn’t stop in southern Iraq?

Abrams battle tanks chase the Republican Guard to the outskirts of Baghdad. Could now be the time for a civilian uprising? Will Saddam be deposed, and the ruling Baath Party come to an end?

You’ll love this gripping conclusion to the Crisis in the Desert series because it will keep you turning the pages until the very last moment.

Overall this book and the series as a whole are good. I like the scenario the authors created and overall I enjoyed the stories they weaved in it. However, this book and series ended so abruptly that it took me a moment to realize it was over. There was no real resolution to the characters even historical ones because let’s face it, in alt history even real historical characters would be changed by the alt scenario, and the state of this alt history world is basically left up to the reader’s imagination.

It almost felt like there was supposed to be a fourth book but the authors decided to end it here instead.

Overall, again it is a good series, but it ends abruptly and will leave readers confused and disappointed.
