Resumen del Editor

Private investigator Grace tracks a kidnapped child to middle-of-nowhere Iowa. Encountering a strange creature she knows can't be a local animal, she doesn't need her psychic abilities to figure out the sleepy town is not what it seems. When she meets the intriguing Aiden, she's plunged into a world of Norse gods and fire demons where the Wild Hunt still rides the night.

Aiden needs Grace's help to cross the portal between worlds and rescue his daughter. Grace is unlike any woman he's ever met. He's drawn to her courage, distressed by her vulnerability, and doubtful of her motives. But he knows that her visions are the key to defeating the enemy and bringing everyone home alive.

Grace wants a future with Aiden, even if it means she'll never have a normal life. When a test run to the portal takes a terrifying turn, they must learn to finally trust each other or Aiden's daughter, and their chance at love, will be lost forever...

Great Series

I really enjoyed this series. Nice combination of Norse mythology and romance writing. Very good character development and story line

Good Start & End / Crappy Narrator

This book is a little different, with Norse mythology and mythological creatures, healers, witches, shape shifters, and fire demons. I like both the characters of Grace and Aiden.
When I started this audio book, I thought it got off to a good start and the narrator was okay. After a half hour, the book was still good but the narration just got worse. It was more like a boring reading. The. Book. Was. Read. Like.This. It was definitely one of the poorest performances I've heard.
Demon Crossings lost quite a bit of steam in the middle and the narrator made listening painful so I almost quit listening, but I hung in there. I was glad I did. The book picked up at the end and maybe I got used to the narration because it didn't seem so bad, or maybe my ears were numb by this time.
But I did think the story was good. With someone else performing, the overall rating would have been at least 4 stars. Check the sample clip first. You might want to skip the audio book and read the book instead.

Narrator not so good

The narrator wasn't real good for this book. You couldn't tell when it was a male voice of female voice. Hope the author can do better next time. Other than that it was great listening. I love the story!!!!

Sooo Good... Can't wait for book 2!

This was awesome story. A crazy twist on Norse mythology. I liked how the Odins change... I was so wanting Adrin to be Thor, but Odin is even better. You can't think of the real Odin, because No, that is not right. This was a great story and world building. I like how the mix of real world and Norse world came together. Asgard is destroyed because of a war between Adrin's clan and the Vangaurd, and Adrin clan left Asgrad and come to this world. There is a vail that falls and caused demons of Asgard to come out and attack Adrin's clan. The main plot is Grace and Adrin have to go back to Asgard to get Adrin's daughter who has been kidnapped back. Ok... that is all I am tell. The story is simply great. From Grace driving into Ranagok and crashing into a demon, to the smexing... It was simply great. I loved it. So good. I ended up buying book 2 before I even finished this. Not a 5, but a high 4. If I could give it a 4.5, I would. Narration was great too.

A great credit, because it was a little pricey. A good buy too.

Something Different

Very enjoyable book. Loved the premise of modern day demon fighters in Iowa of all places. The name of the town brought a smile. Made me look up more information on Norse mythology. Worth the credit.
