Learned something new!
The vagus nerve was something my massage therapist told me about, so I decided to listen to this audiobook to learn more about it. I appreciated how it was easy to understand and follow as a beginner. It covers all of the basics and more. The techniques were easy to learn and I look forward to incorporating them into my routine.

I love that the strategies are holistic and don’t need constant visits to a doctors office!
Anxiety is something that my wife deals with all the time, and I know for a fact that we both deal with inflammation, digestion, and various heart health issues. Feel like my heart has never been the same ever since I took the Covid vaccine. I still regret that, but everything that I learned in the Definitive Vagus Nerve Guide has significantly changed my outlook on my overall health. I feel like it’s given power back to me to be able to feel like I’m my best self. I definitely had my wife read this book as well because I felt like it was such a gem. Definitely worth the time listening, and it’s worth listening to several times because it has so many good nuggets in there

The vagus nerve controls so much!
My husband’s been through way too much—back surgery, infection, PICC line, blood clot, lung nodule, and now a fatty liver. He’s finally starting to heal, but his body’s been all out of sync. I found this book while searching for literally anything that could help his system calm down. I didn’t know the vagus nerve controls so much—like heart rate, digestion, inflammation, and even mood. It’s wild. The breathing, cold exposure, and simple daily stuff in here actually helps him chill out and sleep better. It’s made both of us feel less helpless. Definitely not a cure, but it’s something that finally feels doable.
