Don’t let the odd title fool you.
I am so pleased I was gifted this audio. By its title and cover I wouldn’t have thought it would be my thing. What an awesome fantasy story. I highly recommend it. Set in a world of repression a kingdom does the unthinkable to achieve ultimate rule over its people.
Great narration, voice overs reflect the right atmosphere the author is trying to portray.

This would make an amazing movie! If you only listen to one audible this year this has to be the one!

Kept my attention the entire time!
This story kept my attention throughout. Sometimes when I listen to books, I zone out doing other things. With this book,I didn’t want to miss a minute. Great characters and the narrator has a voice well matched to the story. Recommend :)

great adventure
I loved the characters and how the story developed. I even got emotional at one point during the journey.

Fabulous story!
This is a wonderfully written story. I enjoyed it so much I had a hard time turning it off and getting work done. the characters were lovely and well-developed. The story was very original and imaginative.
I'm a true fan of this author now.
