I have read over twenty Fidelma books. PT is versed in Irish history, but this book makes it very clear he is not versed in Catholic History.
He has turned woke in this book and erroneously cited Catholic ideas and theology …. Badly done.
To throw in words and phrases like misogynist ( not in 5 century language), a council of men, Adam and Lilith (seriously?!), the false portrayal of women’s treatment. It was clearly done while drinking the Koolaid. This is the last book of his I will ever read. Stick to your original writings and stay out of the politically correct nonsense. Very disappointed .
