Great to be back in Pirates Cove

I love this series, and I am absolutely delighted by the end of this book. Unfortunately, I feel like I've missed out on something because the series skipped book 6 and went straight to 7. I realize long series sometimes skip a book or two, but this series isn't very long. Please stop skipping the audible version of the series. Lastly, Matt Haynes brings Pirates Cove to life and is the reason I have loved this series from the beginning.

I keep thinking that this series can’t get better and then it does. I think I’ve read or listened to all of Josh’s books.

Always fun

I always enjoy the books of this series. The writing and performance are both entertaining and comfortable, and the mysteries are logically orchestrated. I look forward to many more adventures with these wonderful characters.

Another enjoyable entry

This was an enjoyable book which continues following the life of entertaining characters. The relationships between deceased relatives was tough to follow at times. Perhaps it would be easier to follow in print. Looking forward to the next mystery for Ellery, Jack, Watson, & The Silver Sleuths.

one little issue!

i gave the story 5 stars all around because i LOVE this series and the characters AND the narration, its super stupid but one of MY favorite parts of the entire series is the way Matt Haynes makes watson bark...ARFF ARRFF!!!! its the cutest most adorable sound in the world LMAO!!! BUT there was one serious flaw in the story....... after the case was solved there was NO resolutiuon with Vira Shandy...not even a blurp about it.....the entire reason Elory was investigating!! and not even a mention of Vira, ive got to think its a pretty massive error on maybe audibles side, like they didn't record it, or cut it out, because there is NO way a editor or proof ready would allow that GIANT plot whole to be put through in the final product.
