A bad marriage, a worse drinking problem, a gambling addiction, and a dwindling bank account—Hollywood movie sensation Tommy Boyd has finally hit rock bottom. Quickly running out of options, he figures rehab, divorce, a movie contract, and getting out of Hollywood are his only salvation.
His upcoming movie role as John Corey in a movie based on the Nelson DeMille’s Plum Island is the excuse he needs to move across country to Mattituck, Long Island. Life would be perfect except for Kathleen’s hauntingly tragic past. Her troubles become his as repeated attempts are made on her life and the lives of her boys. They quickly discover—death needs no invitation.
