I enjoyed thia short detective story.Anthony Goring was the perfect narrator.I am looking forward to more of this series.I was given this book by the narrator,author or publisher free for an honest review.

crime story

the narrator did a good job. crime story, trying to figure out who did it and why, enough details to figure it out. easy to listen to.

Even thought I figured it out early on it was still an enjoyable short story.

A wonderful mystery

Glad I stuck with the series after book 2. This was the best of the series so far and the best narration. I did not want to put it down and binged it as FA’s as I could.

Very cool little story. It's very well written and the narrator does an awesome job.

A good book for YA

This is my first time with Andrew Hixson and John Handful. I really enjoyed the pace and John's leaps of intuition that keep you guessing.

It is a book and writing style that keeps things interesting from the first page to the last.

Anthony Goring's narration on Audible has kept it flowing smoothly.

Look forward to more of John Handful by way of Andrew Hixson!

Short but enjoyable

This is a short but entertaining story in which Detective John Handful has to figure out what caused the death of his ex-lover’s new boyfriend. I like how each book in the series builds depth and adds to the life story of the main character. I also thought the narrator of this book was better than the previous two and did not make the main character sound as much like an old man but I would have liked to have seen a bit more emotion in his voice at times. Even though you can figure this plot out fairly early on in the story, it is still a good mix of small town intrigue, murder, character building and detective work.

Great mystery

I really enjoyed this short mystery book. It reminded me of Sherlock Holmes.
