Aided by Elmo Crumley, a savvy, street-smart detective, and a reclusive actress of yesteryear with an intense hunger for life, the wordsmith sets out to find the connection between the bizarre events, and in doing so, uncovers the truth about his own creative abilities.

loved this book growing up, still love it now. nice to have it ready to me but spot on with what was in my head.

Sometimes we forget what a genius wordmaster Bradbury was. From paragraph one you know you are listening to art. The narrator reinforces this art brilliantly. Listen to this book to remind yourself of Bradbury's incomparable status!

A solid and fun book

I’ve read this a few times since it’s initial publication. It is one of my go to, pleasure novels from Ray Bradbury, one of my favorite authors. The reader’s performance is solid. I recommend this book.
