OMG, this book confirmed many suspicions I have about being a Novelist

OMG, this book confirmed many suspicions I have about being a Novelist, equipped me with ways to question my definition of being a Novelist, and also reaffirmed some of the choices that I have made for my Writing career that have gone against the grain, but produced the right results for me. Another very cool thing about this book is that it’s not just for writers. However, if you are a writer, wondering if it’s worth it, if you’re working too hard, but the results don’t match, or feeling burned out or unnoticed, this is a must read book!

Tough love from a writer to a writer

I'll be mulling over the thought provoking questions in this for a long time. It's nothing about a system or approach and all about digging into yourself...finding your alignment. I think it will help me in many areas of my life, but I am especially grateful for it now as I struggle to get words on the page. Thank you, Becca.

Highly recommend!

Tough love and realistic expectations. This book does a great job getting into the minds of writers. We have which imaginations and sometimes to our own detriment. It reinforced the basis of Write Better Faster, Becca’s awesome class. Exactly what I needed at exactly the right moment.

This book met me where I am

It refreshing to listen to a book for writers that doesn't give absolutes about How to Be Writer like so many do. Quite the opposite!

The author as a narrator did a great job. Her personality came through and made this an even more enjoyable listen!

Eye opening!

This was chocked full of information I needed to hear. I highly recommend for any author to read this, or any creative individual because the advice will certainly work for artists as well. I fell into the traps discussed and am looking forward to going back to my roots and be the best I can be again.

This is the way.

This book got me through a chunk of Utah and most of Idaho…and I’m immensely grateful to Becca and her coaches for the past two years of guidance on my writing quest.

Just listened for a second time. Still great.

Becca always seems to be talking right to me. She’s changed so many of my unhelpful writing assumptions, most of them some version of “I am doing it wrong.” Whew!
