A fan of this series

Need is say more ?! Started with a book version but I must add I enjoy the audio more because the narrator is delightful with her Brit accent and she’s is very easy to understand. I recommend starting with the first book in the series. “Dear Mrs. Bird” there are four so far. Well done AJ Pearce

very detailed dialog

I love the characters, new and old brought over from "Dear Mrs Bird". Though fictional, this novel held true to events in Britain during WWII. it is easy to relate to. no matter what generation you are in.

A Delightful Reminder

Sadly, this is the final book in the series. It has been a trip back in time and a reminder of the strength and contribution of women in England during WWII.

Enjoyable end to a wonderful series

As the war in England slowly comes to an end, the folks at Woman's Friend magazine continue to soldier on. This series focuses on the lives of the people on the home front, and is rich with little knows details about the war, especially it's impact on women.
