THIS IS A COMEDY WITH CRIME YOU WILL ENJOY: A passionate tale unfolds in the form of a letter written by a fan of Liverpool Football Club to its manager, asking him for his advice and support regarding the desperate state he finds himself in. The letter develops from an initial appeal into a confession, revealing dark secrets and an intriguing story. Living in the south of England, many miles from his beloved home town of Liverpool, family man David 'Dono' O'Donovan has seen his wife and daughters turn against him and he longs to return to his roots. When he meets a beautiful and bewitching woman in a local pub whilst he is out celebrating his boss's lottery win, his life changes, irreparably, forever. From then on, his existence becomes a mixture of inflamed desire, risk, romance, illusion and reality, the consequences of which lead him into a series of disasters he could never have envisaged.
