The letters are written affirmation of encouragement to positively affect you through your healing journey. I loved the concept and encouragement this book provides.

My favorite part was the ending of each letter.

This book was a reminder on how we should love ourselves more as black women. We should really be more gentle and carefree of other opinions. I felt like the letters were the daily affirmations we need so I'm super thankful for the audio. Change will happen within us through the power of these words.

I LOVED everything about this book! I felt the author was speaking directly to me. It was very personal and will resonate with any black woman who reads or listens. The narrative was well spoken with emphasis on the right phrases.

The book that I didn't know that I needed

This book is nourishing to my soul in ways I didn't expect. I have almost 900 books in my Audible library, and this one fits Easily in my top 5. I'll be listening again and again for the reminder of who I am and also to practice the exercises to grow and strengthen the areas I want to see improvement on within myself. I highly recommend this book to all black women and those who love us.

You Can't Pour From An Empty Cup

Letters of Affirmations to Self. It's a continuous reminder to be authentic, unapologetic, brave, and to share with you tribe to take on a better world. To create the environment we need to thrive and succeed. Some aspects were repetitive but it was confirmation as to how all of these letters intertwine. Each one is a stepping stone for the other and an Affirmations to keep striving to curate the life God has for you.

I love this book so much. I listened multiple times & each time I gained a new message to self. This was truly inspiring in everyway
