Flakey Protagonist

The protagonist was annoying. I think she was supposed to be quirky, but I experienced her as kinda judgmental, duplicitous and annoying. I continued reading just to see where the mystery was heading. I will say I figured out most of the plot twist pretty quickly. I thought the author’s biases were pretty obvious and off putting as well. Might read or listen to another of her books just to see. On the positive side, I found this AI narrator less of a bot.
