Amber Westbrook loves to read mystery novels, but she never expected to be a part of a real-life murder mystery.
Amber and Copper Westbrook have been looking forward to a nice holiday vacation. They invited their nephews Thomas and Quintin, known also as Q, and their sister-in-law Ellee. The plan was for Amber to take Q, Thomas, and Ellee on a charter bus from Baldwin, Idaho, to the Wintercrest Ski Lodge in Utah where they would stay and meet up with Cooper. Once at the lodge, the weather took a turn for the worse, trapping all the occupants with no way off the mountain. To everyone’s shock it was discovered that one of the passengers on the charter had been murdered during the journey. Now Amber and her charges are stranded with no Cooper and an unknown murderer.
