A great sequel to a great series!

Jennifer Lynn Barnes weaves another mystery that kept me on the edge of my seat to the very last page! Love the way she makes it contemporary and timely for today's YA fans but doesn't go too far off the edge. My teen readers will love it!

A lot of twists and turns

Wow this book had a lot of twist and turns. I didn’t really like the fact Victoria and Ana had Spanish Accents even though they were born in America, but I get it was meant to differentiate. I just needed more I’m hoping there’s another book.

Make sure you read this book after the first

Enjoyable story but make sure you listen/read the first book first or you will be totally lost . I love the main character sawyer even if sometimes I want to strangle her. She is a strong, confident young lady looking to answers about her parentage and people to call family that she can relay on to support her but she’s also wary of being hurt and trusting too much too fast.

I love this series and wish there was more

I Just love listening to this world, I wish there was more books. Two books just arnt enough

Oh my God, the twists!

If you love the first book in the series, this one is an adventure in the same mold. With the same story structure, and the same devastating twists! I'm not usually one for thrillers, but this is something else. I love it!

Just as good as the first one

If not better. This author knows how to draw out a tale. Awesome listening on audiobook!

Better than the first book

I often don’t think that the second book is better then the first book but this one is.

I want more!

the narrative was the best I've listened to, ever. there are several people in this book and you never have to guess whose talking. Little white lies was an excellent book. But this one had more twists than I could have ever expected. I hope they have more sequels. Definitely 2 thumbs up.

Great series, I loved it.

I really enjoyed this and hope it gets picked up for a tv series. Old enough now that I’d love my non book loving daughter to be able to enjoy a truly great girl power/mystery in a format we can both enjoy.

I mean yea, we’re parts predictable? Yes! But that’s a delicate balance unless you’re George RR Martin and that’s not what I was in the mood for. 5 stars, great story, well balanced,likable characters.
