Deadly Friendships

Detective Inspector Edward Wilkes of Shepherd’s Bush Station, London, is faced with a puzzling case. Eileen Steuben, a physical therapist at the local Veteran’s center, tells Wilkes that one of her clients has lost five of his close friends in just the past year and a half, all under suspicious circumstances. With his partner, Clive Smithers, Wilkes investigates the friends and close associates of veteran Chester Hawkins, trying to determine if these deaths were strange coincidences or the acts of a deranged murderer.
