Dead to Writes

Detective Rudd is back and ready to fight another serial killer plaguing the streets of New York City. He is called on to investigate a murder copied from a best-selling author's book. At first, it seems like it's just one murder, but then Nick is called to a small town in Upstate New York because they too have murders happening that mimic this author's books. They determine that the author is the killer's end game and they must race against the clock to figure out who the killer is while also trying to protect the author from the killer's wrath. While working the case, Detective Rudd is also dealing with an angry partner, clearly hiding something, and a family hating him for never being home. How many people have to die before Detective Rudd and his team of investigators find the killer?
