A Josephine Stuart Mystery

Josephine and her cohorts are hired to paint murals in a 1920's mansion overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Aptos, California. Across town, in the woodsy area Aptos, someone has murdered Eddie. It seems he fell on his rifle and drowned in a foot of spring water. Josephine pushes herself into the case, thanks to the fact that the sheriff needs her help in a more personal problem. In the meantime, Aunt Clara becomes deeply involved in the murder mystery and very helpful in the personal matter. The tension builds, as unscrupulous characters pull the ladies into a 'life or death' situation.
